Explosion in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, glass of several houses shattered, panic grips people, investigation underway

New Delhi. A massive explosion occurred this morning in Nalagarh under Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The intensity of the blast was so high that the glasses on the windows of many nearby houses and the Army Hospital were broken. The echo of the explosion was heard for about 400 to 500 meters. It is fortunate that there were no casualties in this incident. However, the actual cause of the explosion is not yet known. Police have sealed the incident site and the matter is being investigated. There is panic among the people due to this explosion incident.

According to local residents, after the explosion there was a cloud of smoke for some time but nothing was visible. The place where this incident took place comes under Baddi police station. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. SP Baddi Vinod Dhiman also went to the spot. Along with him, the forensic team also reached the spot and investigated and collected important evidence. Information about why the explosion occurred will be revealed only after the investigation is completed. Police have also increased security in the surrounding areas. No citizen is allowed to go towards the incident site.

A migrant laborer present near the incident site said that he was sitting at a tea shop with his friend when the explosion took place. The explosion was so powerful that the entire area shook. The explosion took place in the street next to the IO room of Nalagarh police station. At present, nothing suspicious has been recovered from the spot. The forensic team from Shimla is trying to find out whether the blast was caused by any chemical or whether any explosive was used in it. At present people are scared after the incident.
