Rambharose has said in the complaint given to the police that the people of Navakanti Society earlier used to bring together the poor and people of Dalit community in the name of providing them sewing machines, beauty parlors, salons and other training. In the meetings of the organization, luring people with home appliances, means of employment, installation of hand pumps and other facilities were given. Those who joined the organization to other people were also lured to give Rs 6000 every month. It was told in Rambharose’s complaint that a normal conversation should have been held first. Then along with teaching the Bible, Christian prayers were conducted. Then Navakanti Society would also make one take the oath of conversion. Rambharosa claims that foreigners were also present in many meetings of the organization.

According to Rambharose, when people raised questions on these activities and refused to convert, the people of the organization asked to return double the amount and even threatened to kill them.
