New Delhi. BJP has targeted the West Bengal CM over today’s order of the Supreme Court in the ED vs Mamata Banerjee case. On the Supreme Court staying all the FIRs lodged against ED officers by the Trinamool Congress government, BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia said that this is a legal slap on the Chief Minister who thinks that she is above the law. The Supreme Court has asked whether you will convert the High Court into Jantar Mantar. The Supreme Court raised the question whether the State Police can stop ED, CBI? The same people who were supposed to strengthen the hands of ED are stopping the investigation.

The BJP leader said that today the Supreme Court has shown the mirror. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee should answer what kind of jungle raj is going on in West Bengal. The BJP leader also said that a petition was filed by TMC in the Calcutta High Court. Before the hearing on January 9, at the behest of Mamata Banerjee, the legal cell of Trinamool Congress sent a WhatsApp message asking everyone to reach the High Court. The Supreme Court has taken cognizance of this today.

The Supreme Court has issued notice to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Bengal DGP, Kolkata Police Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner on the ED petition.
