New Delhi. Voting took place today for 29 municipal corporations in Maharashtra including Mumbai. After the elections, now everyone’s eyes are on the results of the country’s richest municipal body, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The respect of Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray, who came together after years for the BMC elections, is also at stake. It remains to be seen whether the unity of the Thackeray brothers has made any difference to the people of Mumbai or not. In BMC with 227 wards, 114 seats will be required for majority. Mahayuti’s government in DV Research’s exit poll

DV Research’s exit poll has predicted that the BJP-led Mahayuti will get 107 to 122 seats. Whereas the alliance of Uddhav and Raj Thackeray is expected to get 68 to 83 seats. Congress and Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi are projected to get 18 to 25 seats while Ajit Pawar-led NCP is projected to get 2 to 4 seats. Others are expected to get 8 to 15 seats.

BJP alliance gets a huge lead in Axis My India exit poll

According to the exit poll of Axis My India, the BJP alliance is likely to get a bumper 131 to 151 seats. While Shiv Sena (UBT) and MNS alliance are expected to get 58 to 68 seats. Congress and its allies may get 12 to 16 seats while others are expected to get 6 to 12 seats.

JVC Exit Poll

According to JVC’s exit poll, BJP’s alliance may get 138 seats. Whereas Thackeray Brothers are expected to get 59 seats. Whereas the Congress alliance is estimated to get only 23 seats.

Who contested elections on how many seats?

Let us tell you that in the BMC elections, BJP has fielded candidates on 137 seats and its ally Eknath Shinde led Shiv Sena has fielded candidates on 90 seats. Ajit Pawar-led NCP is contesting separately on 94 seats. Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT) has fielded its candidates on 163 seats while its ally Raj Thackeray’s MNS has fielded its candidates on 52 seats. Congress is contesting on 143 seats and its ally VBA (Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi) on 46 seats.
