A training microlight two-seater aircraft of the Indian Air Force developed some technical fault during flight due to which the aircraft went out of control. The pilot and co-pilot, showing wisdom, tried to land the plane in an empty space and the plane fell into a pond. It is fortunate that there were no casualties in this incident. This incident took place behind KP College located in the heart of the city. If the plane had fallen in the college or nearby populated area, there could have been major damage.

As soon as the plane fell into the pond, there was a very loud noise. Hearing the sound, the people nearby first got scared and then ran towards the spot. People saw that both the pilot and co-pilot were trapped in the pond and were asking for help. Some local people jumped into the pond and saved the pilot and co-pilot safely. There was a large number of water hyacinths growing in the pond where the plane fell, due to which the pilots had to put in a lot of effort to rescue them from there. After the incident, local people informed the police. Police and fire brigade teams immediately reached the spot and started rescue operations. At the same time, orders have been given by the Air Force to investigate this accident. Let us tell you that Magh Mela is going on on the banks of Sangam in Prayagraj where a large number of devotees are present, hence if this plane had fallen there, there would have been a lot of loss of life.
