Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman At Lok Sabha: You will get scolded in the Supreme Court again… Nirmala Sitharaman’s counterattack on TMC’s allegation of giving nothing to Bengal in the budget.
New Delhi. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman answered the opposition’s questions on the budget in the Lok Sabha today. The Finance Minister said that several announcements in the budget will provide an opportunity to the states for development in various sectors. This budget is the first budget prepared in the second quarter of the 21st century and covers a range of topics from 2026 to 2050. Rejecting TSC MP Abhishek Banerjee’s allegations that there was nothing for Bengal in the budget, Sitharaman pointed out the announcements made about Bengal in the budget. He said that saying that the Center has not given anything to Bengal is an attempt to spread confusion. You will be scolded in the Supreme Court but will not agree and will still say that the Central Government is not giving anything.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, on the opposition’s allegations that there is no new scheme for the youth, said that skill development will be linked with education, so that students are ready for entrepreneurship as soon as they complete their degree. Mega Entrepreneurship Centers can be set up near industrial clusters as higher education hubs and for this the Central Government is ready to work with the States. This big higher education center can be supported so that students can go there and come out as entrepreneurs.

Sitharaman said that instead of waiting to qualify the exams and complete their studies and then coming out and seeing where students should go to learn skills, the skilling element can be included in the studies themselves and at the end when they come out, students can say that I can become an entrepreneur and such a mega center can be started in any industrial cluster of any state. Therefore, these mega entrepreneurship building centers as education hubs can come from any state. He informed that five regional medical centers are being established to promote medical tourism in the country.
