New Delhi. There has been a stir after receiving a bomb threat in an Indigo plane. The plane was scheduled to fly to Shillong from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. A crew member found a handwritten note in the toilet of aircraft number 6E-7304, in which it was written that there was a bomb on board the aircraft. The crew member immediately informed the pilot of the aircraft and the pilot informed the ATC about this. Taking the matter seriously, the plane was stopped from flying.
The aircraft was moved to a different location at the airport and the passengers were deboarded. The passenger’s luggage is being thoroughly checked along with the aircraft. At present, no suspicious object has been recovered from the plane. Bomb squad, fire brigade, rescue squad along with ambulance are present there. The investigating officers are also trying to find out whether this is someone’s mischief because similar incidents have happened before. Let us tell you that earlier on January 30 also, IndiGo plane had received a bomb threat.

A tissue paper was found on the Indigo Airlines flight coming from Kuwait to Delhi in which a bomb threat and talk of hijacking the plane was written. After this, emergency landing of the plane was made in Ahmedabad. However, during security check no bomb or anything suspicious was found. It is worth noting that for the last few months, there have been continuous threats to bomb important places like schools, hospitals, courts, collectorate premises in different states of the country, however, nothing has been received from anywhere.
