New Delhi. Mani Shankar Aiyar, who was in the news every day for giving controversial statements and was a minister in the UPA government at the Centre, has joined the Congress this time. Mani Shankar Aiyar targeted Congress leaders Shashi Tharoor, Jairam Ramesh and Pawan Kheda. Iyer also claimed that Congress will not be able to win the Kerala Assembly elections this time too. Mani Shankar Aiyar gave this statement while talking to NDTV. According to the report, Mani Shankar Aiyar said that Congress will not be able to win the Kerala Assembly elections because the party leaders do not hate communists as much as they hate each other.

Mani Shankar Aiyar said that he wants Congress to win in Kerala, but Congress leaders are divided. Aiyar described Congress MP from Thiruvananthapuram Shashi Tharoor as anti-Pakistan and said that Tharoor aspires to become the next foreign minister. Mani Shankar Aiyar said about Congress Rajya Sabha MP Jairam Ramesh that he has to save his job. Iyer said about Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda that he is not a party spokesperson but a puppet. He said that Pawan Kheda has been accusing me for the last two years. If Congress does not get any other spokesperson except Pawan Kheda, its condition will be similar.

Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda had said that Mani Shankar Aiyar has nothing to do with the party. He had described Mani Shankar Aiyar’s views as personal. On this, Iyer’s statement about Pawan Kheda has come. Mani Shankar Aiyar has been continuously showing favoritism towards Pakistan. Because of this, he has put Congress in the circle of questions many times. On Mani Shankar Aiyar’s latest statement, Kerala Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala said that he should not comment, because Pawan Kheda has said that Mani Shankar Aiyar is not in the party.
