Bhupen Bora informed that he has resigned from all the posts of the party along with the primary membership. Bhupen Bora has sent his resignation to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. In his resignation letter, Bhupen Bora has accused the party leadership of ignoring him and not giving him proper place in the state Congress. Regarding his resignation from Congress, Bhupen Bora said that it is not a personal decision. Gave 32 years to the party. This is inspired by concern for the future of Congress.

Meanwhile, there is news that Congress leaders are trying to convince Bhupen Bora to withdraw his resignation. Bhupen Bora told that the call had come from the Congress high command. A call was also made to CPM. Akhil Gogoi said that his doors are always open for me. He told news agency PTI that Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has not called. Bora told the news agency that if Congress is not able to decide whom it wants in Majuli Yatra, then we will have to think about the future of the party. Let us tell you that Congress has put forward Gaurav Gogoi to deal with BJP in Assam. Besides, he has also been made the deputy leader in the Lok Sabha after Rahul Gandhi.
