New Delhi. BJP has alleged that the Siddaramaiah government of Karnataka has given land cheaply to the Congress Bhawan Trust. BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that today questions should be asked as to why the Karnataka government of Congress under the leadership of CM Siddaramaiah is converting 24 pieces of land earmarked for the facilities of the citizens there to be used as the headquarters of the Congress party. He said that these 24 lands worth Rs 50 crore were given to the Congress Bhawan Trust for only Rs 2 crore. BJP spokesperson alleged direct corruption of Rs 48 crore.

BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that Congress is synonymous with corruption. The Gandhi family only tries to grab government property. He gave the example of the National Herald case and said that it would not be wrong if because of this Congress is called a Harpu party. BJP spokesperson said that in the National Herald case it was seen how Congress converted government property into private property. He also took the name of Priyanka Gandhi’s husband Robert Vadra and said that similarly he also grabs the land of farmers and runs his business on it. Gaurav Bhatia said that the love of Gandhi family and Congress for government land has increased to such an extent that two dozen government lands in Karnataka are no longer being used in public interest.

BJP spokesperson said that this valuable government property of Karnataka is allegedly being transferred at a very low price and converted into the private property of the Gandhi family. He said that corruption is happening in every possible way. Gaurav Bhatia said that BJP will raise this issue and ensure that those involved in corruption go to jail. He said that just as Congress governments disappeared from most parts of the country, one day it will also disappear from Karnataka. With BJP’s allegation of giving government land in Karnataka to Congress cheaply, it is certain that the politics of the state will heat up once again. Even before this, BJP has been cornering the Congress government of Karnataka by raising various issues.
