Youth Congress’s Protest At AI Summit Inspired From Nepal’s Gen-Z Movement: Delhi Police claims, Youth Congress’s protest at AI Summit was inspired by Nepal’s Gen-Z Movement

New Delhi. During the appearance in Patiala House Court of the Youth Congress workers who took off their T-shirts and raised slogans and protested at the AI Impact Summit, Delhi Police said that this demonstration was not just a protest but it was a conspiracy to damage India’s image on the international stage. Delhi Police claimed that this demonstration of Youth Congress was inspired by Nepal’s Gen-Z movement. The court has sent Youth Congress’s Krishna Hari, Kundan, Ajay Kumar and Narasimha Yadav on five-day remand. On the other hand, other parties including BSP and Samajwadi Party have also condemned this incident.

BSP supremo Mayawati said that the ‘AI Impact Summit’ organized in New Delhi, in which many prominent people from the country and abroad were invited and this event was in the headlines at the international level, during this time all the people who expressed their anger by being semi-nude, in which most of them are said to be Congress youth, is highly indecent and condemnable. If this conference was not of international level, it would have been a different matter, but such behavior during the summit is a matter of concern, that is, it would be appropriate if the dignity and image of our country is not spoiled. At the same time, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has also said that he is not in favor of the uproar that took place in the AI summit.

YSR Congress President and former Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy says that Youth Congress embarrassed us all at the AI summit yesterday. In which direction is our politics going? No one should insult our country. Whatever our political differences, we must always present ourselves in solidarity before the world. Meanwhile, BRS working president KT Rama Rao said that it is highly condemnable for Youth Congress members to choose the platform of AI Impact Summit 2026 for a petty political spectacle. Using such a global platform for protests tarnishes the image of our great nation India at the international level. It is natural to have differences of opinion in a democracy, but it is very important to understand where and how to protest. There is a time and place for expressing political disagreement and an international summit is certainly not that time and place.
