Delhi Police Foil Terror Plot: Major terrorist attack plot foiled, Delhi Police arrested six including Bangladeshi national from Tamil Nadu

New Delhi. Delhi Police has foiled the conspiracy to carry out a major terrorist attack in the country. Delhi Police said on Sunday that it has arrested six people from Tamil Nadu for conspiring to carry out terrorist attacks in the country. According to Delhi Police, all of them conspired to carry out a terrorist attack with the help of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and terrorist organizations of Bangladesh. A Bangladeshi national is also among those arrested. Dozens of mobile phones and SIM cards have been recovered from him.

Earlier on Saturday, quoting Intelligence Department sources, there was news that Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba had conspired to carry out bomb blasts in Delhi. Intelligence department sources had said that Lashkar is planning to carry out bomb blasts on Gaurishankar Temple, Jain Temple and Sisganj Gurudwara located near the Red Fort. Devotees visit all these places in large numbers. After discovering this conspiracy of Lashkar, police have made tight security arrangements in Red Fort and Delhi. Regarding the people arrested from Tamil Nadu on charges of hatching a terrorist conspiracy, Delhi Police has not yet told where they had planned the terrorist attack.

There was also a car bomb blast near the Red Fort in Delhi in November 2025. In which 13 people lost their lives. Dr. Umar Un Nabi was also killed in this car bomb blast. Just before the bomb blast, Omar’s other fellow doctors were arrested for plotting a terrorist attack. Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed have been carrying out many terrorist attacks in India. Thousands of people have lost their lives so far in the attacks of these terrorist organizations based in Pakistan. Apart from Lashkar and Jaish, Bangladesh’s terrorist organization HUJI has also been plotting terrorist attacks. Now the interrogation of the people caught by Delhi Police will reveal where they intended to carry out terrorist attacks.
