Pune Porsche Car Accident Case: Supreme Court notice to Maharashtra government on the bail plea of the father of the main accused in the Pune Porsche case.

New Delhi. Vishal Aggarwal, father of the main accused in the case of death of two IT professionals riding a bike in an accident involving a Porsche car in Pune in the year 2024, has filed a bail application in the Supreme Court. While hearing the petition, the Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Maharashtra government and sought its reply. Earlier, on December 16, 2025, the Bombay High Court had rejected the bail application of Vishal Aggarwal and other accused. Challenging that order of the High Court, Vishal Aggarwal has now approached the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court had granted bail to other accused in this case Amar Gaikwad, Aditya Sood and Ashish Mittal on February 2, after which they have been released from jail.

This matter was much discussed in the entire country. In this, Vishal Aggarwal’s minor son was returning from a party with his friends. He was driving his Porsche car at a very high speed when he hit a young man and a girl riding a bike, killing both of them. The minor accused was drunk at the time of the incident. Aditya Sood and Ashish Mittal were arrested for changing the blood sample of the minor accused. In this case, the Juvenile Justice Board had given conditional bail to the minor car driver and ordered him to write an essay of 300 words on road safety.

This decision of the court was widely criticized and people opposed the granting of bail to the accused. After this, the Juvenile Justice Board modified its order and sent the minor to observation home. However, in June last year, the minor was released following the order of the Bombay High Court. Now the Supreme Court will hear the application of his father Vishal Aggarwal on March 10.
