New Delhi. Hearing on the anticipatory bail plea of Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati of Jyotisha Peeth on charges of sexual harassment of minor children was held in Allahabad High Court today. After hearing the arguments of both the sides, the court has reserved its decision. However, giving relief to Swami Avimukteshwaranand, the court has stayed his arrest till the verdict is given. The next hearing in the case will be in the third week of March. The court said that if the police wants, they can interrogate Avimukteshwarananda and he will have to cooperate in the police investigation.
After getting immediate relief from arrest by the court, Swami Avimukteshwaranand said that we always had hope for justice. The entire staff cannot be corrupt. Everyone cannot be under anyone’s pressure. Somewhere, there will be someone within whom religion and justice will be awakened who will outline and define right and wrong. The Hindu community of the entire country was very hurt by this, today even at first glance, but through the court, people came to know that hearing and justice takes place somewhere. The conspiracy that was hatched to defame Shankaracharya’s institution was demolished today by the court’s order. The power of lies is to disturb and the power of truth is to defeat.
