According to the Meteorological Department, an increase of 3 to 5 degrees Celsius will be seen in the temperature in these areas. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there will be heat in the lower areas of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, UP, Rajasthan along with Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

The Meteorological Department has said that by the end of this week the maximum temperature in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh will be 2 to 4 degrees above normal. At the same time, some areas of Gujarat will have to face heat and humidity. Gujarat is likely to see a rise of 3 to 5 degrees in temperature in the next 5 days. The maximum temperature has already reached 37 degrees in many places in South India, Maharashtra and Gujarat. It seems that there may be intense heat in May and June this year. According to weather forecast, two western disturbances are coming. Due to these effects, there may be light rain or snowfall in the hilly areas till March 4. However, this snowfall will not affect the plains.

The Meteorological Department had earlier said that there is going to be severe cold in December 2025 and January 2026. This assessment of the weather department was correct. Due to continuous snowfall in the hilly areas, there was severe cold in the plains. The Meteorological Department has not yet told how much rain there will be this year. Earlier, due to La Nina effect, more than average rainfall was seen in the last two years. During the La Nina effect, the sea surface temperature becomes higher than that of the land. Whereas, under El Nino effect the temperature of the land is higher than that of the sea. Due to which there is less rain.
