After this the Iranian ship docked at Kochi port. He told that many young cadets were also present in that Iranian ship. When the ship set out on its mission, conditions were normal, but conditions changed on the way. The Foreign Minister said that a similar situation existed in Sri Lanka, but unfortunately the ship could not survive there. Let us tell you that Iran’s warship Iris Dena was attacked and sunk by an American submarine with torpedoes near Sri Lankan waters.
The External Affairs Minister further said that India has a special significance in the context of the Indian Ocean and hence a special responsibility and a special contribution.
