Government Forms Committee For LPG Supply To Restaurants: There will be no shortage of gas even in restaurants and hotels, Government formed a committee, domestic LPG production increased by 10 percent
New Delhi. The Government of India has already taken several measures to ensure that the supply of LPG gas for domestic use is not disrupted. Now the government has taken steps to ensure gas supply in restaurants and hotels also. The government has given the responsibility of this to the oil marketing companies who will talk to different restaurant associations so that their problems of LPG supply can be understood. The government has formed a 3-member committee comprising executive directors of IOC, HPCL and BPCL to hear their complaints. Due to which their real need of commercial LPG will be met. This committee will also reprioritize the supply according to the needs. ANI has given this information on the basis of government sources.
In fact, there was news of shortage of LPG in restaurants in some cities including Mumbai, after which the government took it seriously and found a solution. The government has also said that due to reprioritization, domestic LPG production has increased by 10 percent in the last few days. Consignment of LPG and LNG is coming from different sources. Some new consignments of LPG and LNG are expected to arrive very soon. There were difficulties earlier too but today we are not in any difficulty regarding petroleum products.

Indian refineries are running at full capacity as they were before the start of the Iran-Israel war. We are taking 70 percent of our crude oil supply from sources other than the Strait of Hormuz. We came out of this problem better prepared and after this crisis is over, India will recover better than other countries. We have not taken any decision to ban the export of refined oil. Let us tell you that the government has announced in the morning to impose ESMA to stop hoarding of LPG cylinders.
