Sahitya Akademi Award 2025 For Sanskrit: ‘Prasthan Chatushtaya Brahmaghosh’ written by BAPS Sadhu Swami Bhadreshdasji gets Sahitya Akademi Award for Sanskrit language.

New Delhi. The prestigious Sahitya Akademi Award 2025, given by the Government of India in the field of literature, has been announced. This year, this honor for Sanskrit language has been given to the great scholar Mahamahopadhyay Swami Bhadreshdasji of BAPS for his work “Prasthanchatushtaye Brahmaghosh”. Selected as the best Sanskrit work of India, this text gives a comprehensive representation of Brahma Tattva on the basis of Vachanamrit given by Lord Swaminarayan along with Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita and Brahma Sutra, the major scriptures of Hinduism. This book, written in Sutra (Sutra style) poetic form, has been considered a masterpiece of philosophical poetry by scholars. Keeping in mind its literary characteristics and deep philosophical nature, the selection committee has selected it as the best Sanskrit composition of the year 2025.

This book presents the philosophy propounded by Lord Swaminarayan in literary style. This work, published in the year 2018, was written by Swami Bhadreshdasji with the guidance and permission of the most revered Mahant Swami Maharaj. Sahitya Akademi, while officially announcing its prestigious annual awards for the year 2025, has declared Mahamahopadhyay Swami Bhadreshdasji as the winner in the Sanskrit language category. He has been honored for his masterpiece “Prasthanachatushtaye Brahmaghosa”.
