Good news for common people, ship carrying 16000 tons of LPG reaches India from America, Pyxis Pioneer ship with LPG reaches new Mangalore port of India

Mangaluru. Due to the continuing war between America and Israel against Iran, the fear of many countries going through energy crisis is deepening. At the same time, India is continuously importing fuel from its own sources. To overcome the shortage of LPG, India has turned to other countries. The latest news is that the tanker ship ‘Pixis Pioneer’ carrying LPG from America has reached Mangaluru port in Karnataka on Sunday morning.

According to the information given by New Mangaluru Port Trust, the ship Pixis Pioneer has brought 16714 tonnes of LPG. This tanker ship had left from Texas, America on 14 February. The ship is scheduled to return on Monday after unloading the LPG. Earlier on March 18, tanker ship ‘Jag Ladki’ carrying 80,000 tonnes of crude oil had reached Mundra port in Gujarat. At the same time, ships named MT Shivalik and MT Nanda Devi had reached India with LPG via Hormuz. With this, the LPG crisis faced by India could be resolved.

Many Indian ships are also stranded on the western and eastern sides of the Strait of Hormuz. Efforts are on to get these ships released through high level talks between Iran and India. After a recent phone conversation between PM Narendra Modi and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, the Islamic country had given permission to the MT Shivalik and MT Nanda Devi ships to pass through Hormuz. It is believed that soon more Indian ships stuck west of Hormuz will be released. India imports 45 percent of its total crude oil from Gulf countries through Hormuz. Ships passing through Hormuz are at risk due to the Iran war. Due to which India has to import crude oil, LPG and LNG from other countries.
