On the question of journalists whether there is any threat to the security of Indians in Israel, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that all our citizens are safe in Israel. There was news of an Indian citizen being injured. Our embassy is keeping an eye on him, the Indian national has been provided treatment and is being looked after. On how many Indian citizens have lost their lives in this war, he said that 6 people died while 1 is still missing.

On Saturday, he spoke to Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian and wished him Happy Eid and Nowruz. Along with this, PM Modi expressed hope that this festival will bring peace, stability and prosperity in West Asia. The Prime Minister condemned the attacks on critical infrastructure in the region, calling them a threat to regional stability. There was also talk between Modi and Masood regarding Hormuz.
