This is the first time since the beginning of this war that there has been a conversation between President Trump and PM Modi. However, since the beginning of the war, PM Narendra Modi has had two rounds of phone talks with the heads of state of most of the countries in West Asia. India has been continuously insisting on resolving the dispute through dialogue with all parties. It is the result of India’s diplomacy that despite the ongoing war, Iran is allowing Indian flagged ships to pass safely through the Strait of Hormuz.
