Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab Police arrested two Kashmiri terrorists Abu Gaband and Usman from Malerkotla.


Malerkotla. Are the terrorists of Jammu and Kashmir now planning to commit crimes by setting up a base in Punjab? This suspicion deepened because SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Punjab Police, on the basis of intelligence information, have arrested two Kashmiri terrorists from Malerkotla in Punjab. Both of them were arrested from Sherwani Kote village of Malerkotla, Punjab. Both the terrorists were living in Punjab as tenants for the last 15 years, hiding their identities. Earlier on March 18, Counter Intelligence i.e. CIA of Punjab Police had arrested Buta Singh and Harmandar Singh from Ferozepur. They were caught in a conspiracy to supply grenades to terrorists from Pakistan.

Kashmiri terrorists arrested from Malerkotla in Punjab have been identified as Abu Gaband alias Hurira and Usman. The identities of both of them came to light during the police investigation against drug smuggling. The names of Abu Gaband and Usman are included in the list of wanted terrorists of Jammu and Kashmir Police. Both of them had changed their identities in such a way that even the people of the village had no doubt about them. Due to which, for a long time, both of them lived comfortably in the village of Malerkotla in Punjab and did their daily work. After the arrest of Abu Gaband alias Hurira and Usman, there is a suspicion that more Kashmiri terrorists may be hiding in Punjab.

There is not much distance between Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. People move back and forth between the two states. The special thing is that in the 80s, Pakistan had spread a terrible form of terrorism in Punjab also. Thousands of people lost their lives in Punjab during that period. In which CM Beant Singh was also present. Later, IPS officer KPS Gill (now deceased) rooted out terrorism in Punjab. After this, Pakistan started spreading terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir in the 90s. Pakistani terrorists and spies, who were arrested several times, also revealed that due to the operation to eliminate terrorists by the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan is once again trying to spread terrorism in Punjab.
