Retired Brigadier killed in Firing Between Two Factions in Dehradun, shot during morning walk in Dehradun
Dehradun. Retired Army Brigadier VK Joshi was killed during a dispute between two groups in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, on Monday. This heart-wrenching incident has happened in Johrigaon, Dehradun. According to the information, retired Brigadier VK Josi had gone out for a morning walk. At the place through which he passed, there was a lot of dispute going on between two groups. At the same time firing was also being done. During the firing, a bullet hit retired Brigadier VK Joshi and he died.

According to Dehradun Police, after the retired Brigadier was shot, both the groups fled from the spot. Dehradun Police has registered a case of murder of a retired Brigadier and is searching for the accused. Till the time of writing the news, no accused had been arrested. The family of retired Brigadier VK Joshi has demanded justice. Dehradun Police has assured that soon those responsible for the murder of Brigadier Joshi will be arrested. Regarding the murder of Brigadier Joshi, Dehradun SP Pramod Kumar said that there was a dispute between two groups on the issue of overtaking. According to the SP, firing was going on from one vehicle to another.

Brigadier VK Joshi, retired from the army, was about 70 years old. He used to go for morning walk every day. After VK Joshi was shot, the accused fled leaving the vehicle on the spot. Due to the incident that happened in the morning, the question is also being raised that where was the police? It is believed that Pushkar Singh Dhami government of Uttarakhand can take strict action in this matter. People are saddened by this murder of a retired Brigadier.
