Yug Sanskriti Nyas and IFFCON Strabag organized a road safety awareness program titled Surakshit Safar in Delhi.


New Delhi. Yug Sanskriti Trust successfully organized a massive public awareness program on 26 March 2026 at Batra Cinema Complex, Mukherjee Nagar, New Delhi under the “Safe Travels” road safety awareness campaign conducted in collaboration with IFCON Strabag. Harsh Kumar, Chairman of International Company Shipra Group was present as the chief guest in the program. The dignified presence of IFCON Strabag senior representatives Ms. Brigitte Straganj and Sangeeta Rai graced the event.

The major attraction of the program was the presence of Raghavendra Kumar, popularly known as “Helmet Man of India”. Addressing the gathering at the event, he said that helmet is not just a tool but the most effective means of life protection. He appealed to the people to wear helmets themselves and make others aware about it. Helmet Man of India Raghavendra Kumar appreciated the road safety initiative taken by Yug Sanskriti Trust. He said that I feel proud to work with Yug Sanskriti Trust.

On this occasion, the students of Lady Hardinge Medical College presented an impressive street play. In this street play, important aspects of road safety were shown in a very powerful and emotional manner. The presentation played an important role in raising awareness towards road safety while deeply engaging the attendees in a short period of time. An interesting quiz competition also took place in the programme, in which helmets were distributed to the participants who gave correct answers. The program was conducted by Sandeep Sharma and Kanchan Sharma in a very effective and inspiring manner.

CISF Commandant Rakesh Nikhanj had a special contribution in preparing the entire outline of the program and successfully implementing it. Delhi Traffic Police also played an important role in this campaign. Short films based on road safety were shown to the people through special vans by the traffic police and important rules and precautions to be adopted in daily life were highlighted.

During the program, Arun Kumar, Sarita and Dinesh Sharma of Traffic Police were honored with Yug Sanskriti Trust Jan Suraksha Traffic Award for their outstanding contribution. Apart from this, Raghavendra Kumar was honored with the Road Guardian Award. Other special guests were also given the Safe Travels Excellence Award for their contribution and saplings were presented as a mark of respect.

SI Pradeep Kumar of New Delhi Police was also honoured. Chief guest and Chairman of International Company Shipra Group, Harsh Kumar, in his address said that such programs are very important to spread awareness in the society, because many times we ignore the rules even while using the roads on a daily basis. Praising the road safety program being carried out by Yug Sanskriti Trust, he said that such awareness campaigns will prove to be a boon for the society. In the program, senior administrative officer Tarun Pithore highly appreciated this kind of program being organized by Yug Sanskriti Trust and IFCON Strabag organization.

Founder of the organization, Acharya Dharamveer said that road safety is not just a campaign, but a people’s movement. Especially the youth will have to take active participation in this, so that they can protect their own and others’ precious lives by following the rules.

He further said that Yug Sanskriti Trust will continuously strive to develop practical knowledge and sense of responsibility among every section of the society, especially the youth, through such programs in the future also. While thanking the guests, Acharya Dharamveer ji resolved to continue this campaign. On this occasion, Shri JK Jain also expressed his views.

Ms. Suhani, a participant of Lady Hardinge Medical College, also appreciated this initiative of Yug Sanskriti Trust and Acharya Dharamveer ji regarding road safety. She said that I feel proud to be associated with Yug Sanskriti Trust.

At the end of the program, helmets were distributed to the participants and all citizens were appealed to follow road safety rules. Such as mandatory use of helmet and seat belt, following the prescribed speed limit, not using mobile phones and respecting traffic signals so that road accidents can be reduced and a safe society can be created. This program was not only an event, but also proved to be a strong step towards spreading awareness among the people about road safety. A large number of people participated in the program and pledged to play their role in preventing road accidents.
