Relations between the governments of India and Iran are close and cordial, said the representative of Iranian Supreme Leader while talking to the journalists.
New Delhi. Amidst the ongoing war with America and Israel, Iran has once again called India its friend. Speaking to reporters in Lucknow, Dr. Abdul Majeed Hakim Elahi, representative of the Supreme Leader of Iran in India, said, relations between the Government of Iran and the Government of India are very good. There are very close and cordial relations between the two countries. He further said that the Iranian government never said that we are providing oil only for the people of India and not for the government. This is completely wrong.

On US President Donald Trump’s threat regarding ceasefire till Tuesday, the representative of Iran’s supreme leader said, actually, this is nothing new. The US President has issued statements regarding this several times before, but we will have to see what is happening. In response to a question regarding the ceasefire, Dr. Abdul Majeed Hakim Ilahi said, we expect the international community to make joint efforts and stop this war. Many people in different countries are suffering because of this war and we hope that this war will end soon.

Let us tell you that Trump has set a deadline of Tuesday for Iran to accept America’s conditions. Trump has said that if Iran does not make a peace agreement with America by Tuesday, he will destroy the whole of Iran. Meanwhile, there are reports in the media regarding the ceasefire proposal sent by Pakistan to Iran and America that Iran has rejected it. This proposal calls for ceasefire and reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
