Rajnath Singh Tamil Nadu Rally: Rajnath Singh addressed the DMK government of Tamil Nadu on issues related to corruption, law and order and faith.

New Delhi. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh today addressed an election rally in favor of the BJP candidate in Vasudevanallur assembly constituency of Tamil Nadu. Rajnath Singh spoke highly of the DMK government of the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Stalin on the issues of corruption and law and order. During this, the Defense Minister also cornered the DMK government on the issue of lighting Karthigai Deepam in the temple. He said, corruption in the DMK government is not an exception but has become a pattern. Now the time has come for the public to raise its voice against this loot and corruption. He further said, now DMK and Stalin family are going to lose power. Congress is going to be wiped out and NDA government is going to come in Tamil Nadu.

Rajnath said, DMK has cheated Tamil Nadu a lot. Today, law and order has broken down in Tamil Nadu, crime is increasing, cases of atrocities on Dalits have increased. In DMK, D means Dushprayogam i.e. misuse of power, M means Muraikkedu i.e. corruption and K means Kutram i.e. crime. Today, law and order in Tamil Nadu has weakened and the common man is feeling unsafe. He said that the right of devotees to worship at the Subramaniam Swamy temple in Tamil Nadu is being snatched away. Devotees going to light Karthigai Deepam were stopped by Tamil Nadu Police and they were also arrested. Whereas the High Court had given clear instructions that the tradition of lighting lamps on Thirupparankundram should be allowed. Despite this, the DMK government and its allies put pressure on not implementing this order.

The Defense Minister said, if the NDA government is formed here, we will ensure that the sacred tradition of lighting the Karthigai Deepam is resumed. This is your right and the guarantee of BJP. The ancient Sri Varaguna Pandeeswarar Temple of Radhapuram, which was once a symbol of grandeur and prosperity, stands in a dilapidated condition today. The government here has ignored this temple. No one has any answer as to where the temple ornaments, silver chariots and valuable property went. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done the work of installing Sengol, the sacred symbol of Tamil culture, in the biggest temple of democracy, Parliament House, but the Indi alliance, forced by habit, had opposed this too.
