Nadiya. PM Narendra Modi started campaigning for the second round of West Bengal Assembly elections 2026 from Thursday. PM Modi reached Krishnanagar in Nadia district of West Bengal for campaigning. In the public meeting there, PM Modi strongly attacked TMC. Also expressed happiness over the tremendous voting taking place in the first round of West Bengal Assembly elections. He also took a dig at Mamata Banerjee by taking the name of Jhalmudi. Recently, PM Modi had stopped at a shop in Jhargram, West Bengal and ate Jhalmuri. On which Mamata Banerjee and TMC leaders took a jibe. See how PM Modi responded sarcastically.

Citing the example of the incident of gang rape and murder of a minor in Hanskhali, West Bengal, PM Modi described Mamata Banerjee’s TMC government as Maha Jungle Raj. PM Modi said that the incident with the minor is an example of TMC’s fear-based model. He also alleged trafficking of underage girls from West Bengal. PM Modi said that TMC can never give strength to the women of West Bengal. He gave the example of the Constitution Amendment Bill falling in Parliament and said that TMC does not want the women of Bengal to get more seats. He said that every woman of West Bengal will definitely punish TMC.

PM Modi said that BJP works under Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas. Whereas, the government of West Bengal is supporting the infiltrators and for the development of the infiltrators. PM Modi also said that this time neither BJP nor he is contesting the assembly elections in West Bengal. PM Modi said that this time the people of West Bengal are contesting the assembly elections. During his speech, PM Modi also spoke sentences in Bengali language in between. The public present supported this by raising slogans. Voting will be held for 142 assembly seats in West Bengal on April 29. BJP hopes that this time its government will be formed in West Bengal.
