Controversial Statement of Vijay Wadettiwar: Controversial statement of Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar, listen to what he said

Nagpur. Maharashtra Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar’s latest statement may create controversy. Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar, while speaking on the incident of firing at the dinner of US President Donald Trump, said that what happened in his country, happened there too. This had to happen. Congress leader Wadettiwar also described the firing at Trump’s dinner as ‘what is done is what is done’. Vijay Wadettiwar said that today Trump has ruined America to fulfill his plans. As it is happening in our country, it is happening there also. This had to happen. People took to the streets to protest against Trump. Now that they are not landing in India, they are feeling that everything is all well.

This is not the first time that Vijay Wadettiwar has given a controversial statement. Even in the year 2025, he had created controversy by giving statements on Pahalgam terrorist attack and Operation Sindoor. Regarding the Pahalgam terrorist attack, Vijay Wadettiwar had said that terrorists do not have enough time to kill by asking about religion. When this created an uproar, the Congress leader apologized and clarified that his statement was misrepresented. After this he claimed about Operation Sindoor that India used missiles worth Rs 15 lakh to shoot down China’s drone worth Rs 15,000. Wadettiwar also raised the question as to how many Rafale aircraft fell.

Vijay Wadettiwar had given a controversial statement during the Lok Sabha elections in the year 2024. He had alleged that IPS Hemant Karkare, martyred in the Mumbai terror attack, was not murdered by Ajmal Kasab but by a police officer associated with the RSS. He had also created controversy by calling lawyer Ujjwal Nikam a traitor. Now Vijay Wadettiwar has justified the firing at Trump’s dinner and the similar situation in India too, and due to this, there is a possibility of Congress becoming a target along with him.
