Let us tell you that violence has taken place every time during elections in West Bengal. Dozens of people died in violence before and after the 2021 assembly elections in West Bengal. Hundreds had to flee their homes. At that time people had migrated from West Bengal to Assam. The case of violence in West Bengal had reached the Calcutta High Court. Calcutta High Court had given the responsibility of investigating the violence to CBI. This time, due to the tough stance of the Election Commission and the deployment of more than 2.5 lakh central forces, there have been very few incidents of violence before or during the voting in the West Bengal Assembly elections and not a single person has lost his life.
