New Delhi. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s party TMC has suffered a crushing defeat in the assembly elections. Even Mamata Banerjee herself has lost the election from Bhawanipur seat. BJP leader Subhendu Adhikari has defeated him. Mamata Banerjee held a press conference regarding the election results in which her anger was clearly expressed. Mamata Banerjee has made several serious allegations, blaming TMC and the Election Commission for her defeat. Along with this, Mamata Banerjee also said that she will not go to Lok Bhavan to resign. Mamta also said that the Indi alliance is united and with me.

Mamta Banerjee alleged that we have not been defeated, we have been defeated. He said that our fight in the elections was not only with BJP but also with the Election Commission. I have never seen such elections and atrocities in my life. On the question of resigning, Mamata Banerjee said that the question of my resignation does not arise. Along with this, Mamata Banerjee also told that she received calls from Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, Tejashwi Yadav, Uddhav Thackeray and Hemant Soren.
