Relief To Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak: Relief to Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak who left AAP and joined BJP, High Court issued order for Punjab Police

New Delhi. Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak, who left Aam Aadmi Party and joined BJP, has got a big relief from the court. Punjab and Haryana High Court has ordered Punjab Police not to take any action against Sandeep Pathak without the permission of the court. Sandeep Pathak had filed a petition in the court demanding to provide details of the FIR registered against him and to stop any kind of action. Punjab government has asked for time till Monday to provide its details.

Let us tell you that recently in the media report it was said that Punjab Police has registered FIRs against Sandeep Pathak in two different districts of Punjab. However, the information about where and in which case these FIRs were registered was not made public. There is a discussion that the sections imposed against Sandeep Pathak in both the FIRs are non-bailable, in such a situation Sandeep Pathak may also be arrested. In this case, Sandeep Pathak had approached the High Court and filed a petition. Let us tell you that recently Raghav Chadha, Sandeep Pathak, Harbhajan Singh, Ashok Mittal, Swati Maliwal, Vikram Sahni and Rajinder Gupta left Aam Aadmi Party and joined BJP. After that, first the Punjab government withdrew the security of Harbhajan Singh and then it came to light that FIR was registered against Sandeep Pathak.

This week, Raghav Chadha, Sandeep Pathak and other MPs met President Draupadi Murmu and informed him that the Punjab government is misusing the government machinery against the MPs who have left AAP and joined BJP and is unnecessarily targeting them to implicate them in fake cases. The MPs told the President that fake cases are being filed against us by the Punjab government. The President has assured Raghav Chadha and others of the security of both themselves and the Constitution.
