Makhanlal Sarkar On Formation Of BJP Government In Bengal: BJP is not Hindutva, it is Indian, Makhanlal Sarkar said on the formation of Bharatiya Janata Party government in Bengal.


New Delhi. After the formation of BJP government in Bengal, today every small worker of the party till the top leadership is happy. Senior BJP leader Makhanlal Sarkar, 98, has said that today our vision has been successful. We had made a lot of efforts to do something for West Bengal. He said that BJP is not Hindutva but Indian. Let us tell you that before the swearing in of Shubhendu government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today touched the feet of Makhanlal government on the stage and took blessings. Later, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also touched the feet of Makhanlal Sarkar.

Later, PM Modi posted his photo with Makhanlal Sarkar on Instagram and wrote, I met Makhanlal Sarkar ji at the swearing-in ceremony in Kolkata. Makhanlal Sarkar, a dedicated patriot, had worked with Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee and was also arrested while living as his associate in Jammu and Kashmir. He dedicated his life to strengthening the base of our party BJP in West Bengal and inspiring people from all levels to join the party. As BJP workers, we are proud that our party has such inspirational personalities who have strengthened our party by staying among the masses.

Along with this, Modi also said that today, when the first BJP government is taking oath in West Bengal, it is natural for all of us to remember Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee and his indelible contribution to the nation, especially West Bengal. We will leave no stone unturned to realize his dream.
