NEET UG 2026 Paper Leak Case: Coaching operator arrested from Latur in NEET UG 2026 paper leak case, Parliamentary committee summoned NTA Chairman


New Delhi. NEET UG 2026 paper leak case CBI has arrested Shivraj Motegaonkar, a coaching operator from Latur. RCC Coaching Institute provides preparation for NEET UG and has 9 branches in which the main branch is in Latur. Coaching director Shivraj Motegaonkar was recently arrested along with chemistry professor PV. He is said to be close to Kulkarni. So far, 10 people have been arrested in this case, including Professor Shivraj Motegaonkar. On the other hand, the Central Parliamentary Committee has summoned Pradeep Joshi, Chairman of the National Testing Agency (NTA), the organization conducting the NEET exam, and senior officials of the Education Ministry.

The Parliamentary Committee on Education, Youth, Women, Children and Sports, headed by Congress MP Digvijay Singh, will take updates from the NTA Chairman and other officials to know about the action taken now in the paper leak case and to discuss the reforms that can be implemented in the NTA. On Saturday, CBI had arrested Pune’s Botany teacher Manisha Gurunath Mandhare from Delhi. Manisha was a part of the NTA committee that prepared the NEET paper. It is alleged that Professor Manisha Mandhare and retired Professor PV Kulkarni contacted the students preparing for NEET through Manisha Waghmare, a woman from Pune.

Let us tell you that NTA had conducted the NEET UG 2026 examination on May 3. About 23 lakh candidates appeared in that examination which was conducted in 551 cities in the country and 14 centers abroad. On May 7, NTA came to know about the paper leak. After this, after the investigation found the allegations of paper leak to be true, the exam was canceled on May 12. Now NEET re-exam will be conducted on Sunday, June 21. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has requested all the candidates to take the exam without any fear.
