Petrol-Diesel-CNG Price Hike: The price of petrol and diesel increased for the third time, CNG also became more expensive, know the rates of all three.

New Delhi. The price of petrol and diesel has been increased for the third time in 10 days. The price of petrol has been increased by 91 paise per liter and the price of diesel by 87 paise per liter. After the price increase, the price of petrol in Delhi has become Rs 99.51 and the price of diesel has become Rs 92.49. Whereas, in Chennai one liter petrol will now be available for Rs 105.31 and diesel for Rs 96.98. Whereas, in Mumbai the price of petrol has become Rs 108.49 and diesel Rs 95.02 per liter. After the price increase, the price of petrol in Chennai has become Rs 105.31 and diesel Rs 96.98. At the same time, CNG rates have also been increased by Rs 1 per kg.

Earlier, the price of petrol and diesel was increased by Rs 3 per liter. For the second time, the prices of petrol and diesel were increased by 91 and 87 paise respectively. To reduce the losses of petroleum companies, the rates of petrol and diesel have been continuously increased. When the price of petrol and diesel was not increased, the petroleum companies were incurring a loss of Rs 1000 crore every day. Whereas, after increasing the price twice, this loss came down to around Rs 750 crore per day. There has been an obstruction in the supply of petroleum products through Hormuz. Due to which petroleum companies have to import crude oil from far-flung countries. At the same time, the price of crude oil has also increased. In such a situation, the overall cost of imports has affected petrol and diesel.

PM Narendra Modi had appealed to the countrymen twice in the last 24 hours to use less petrol and diesel. PM Modi had said that if it is necessary to drive a car, then do pooling. He had also appealed not to buy gold for a year and not to go abroad for travelling. PM Modi himself and many of his ministers reduced the number of vehicles in their convoy. CMs and ministers of BJP state governments have also reduced the number of vehicles in the convoy, but unless the general public reduces the use of petrol and diesel, there is no question of reduction in consumption. Due to high consumption, more crude oil has to be imported and due to this increase in cost, there is a compulsion to increase the rates of petrol and diesel.
