Weather Update: Possibility of rain and storm in 21 states including Delhi, know where the monsoon has reached.


New Delhi. People are troubled by the extreme heat and humidity in the northern and western states of the country including Delhi and UP. People are waiting for the rain. Now the Meteorological Department has said that heavy rain and storm with a speed of 60 to 85 km can be seen in 21 states of the country including Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance is active and the monsoon has also advanced. Due to which changes are being seen in the weather of North and Central India.

The Meteorological Department has said that there will be rain with thunder in Delhi and surrounding areas. This will drop the temperature. The Meteorological Department has also warned of heavy rain and dusty storm along with lightning at many places in Eastern and Western UP. There will be rain and strong winds at many places in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh also. Whereas, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and hailstorm in Himachal Pradesh for the next few days. There may be heavy rain with thunder and lightning from the mountains to the plains of Uttarakhand. Landslide warning has been issued at many places in the state.

The Meteorological Department has said that the effect of western disturbance will be visible in Rajasthan also. Dust storm is expected in eastern and western Rajasthan. Also, there is a possibility of heavy rain everywhere in the state. The Meteorological Department has said that monsoon has advanced in Bihar. Due to this, there may be heavy rain in most areas of Bihar. There are also chances of strong storm in Bihar. Monsoon is active in the southern, eastern and northeastern states of the country. Due to which a lot of rain is being seen at many places. However, in the month of June there has been about 30 percent less rainfall than the average. The Meteorological Department had already said that due to El Nino, there will be less than average rainfall in monsoon this year.
