Air India Flight Entered Pakistan Airspace: Air India flight lost its way and reached Pakistan airspace, flight from Delhi to Amritsar
New Delhi. An Air India passenger plane lost its way and reached Pakistan’s air space. Later the plane was diverted back towards Delhi. It is being told that due to technical problem the plane deviated from its path. At present, orders have been given to investigate this incident. According to the information, Air India’s Airbus AI-321 aircraft had left for Amritsar from Delhi on Tuesday night. There were about 150 passengers on board this plane. Due to technical fault on the way, the plane deviated and reached Pakistan border.

After this a warning was issued by Pakistan Air Traffic Control. The pilot then assessed the situation and turned the aircraft back towards Indian airspace. After this the plane was again taken towards Delhi and it was landed there. After security procedures at Delhi airport, the plane again took off for Amritsar and reached Amritsar about four and a half hours behind schedule. An aircraft crossing an international border into the airspace of another country is a serious incident. This development has happened at a time when India and Pakistan are taking special vigilance regarding surveillance of their respective airspace.

Let us tell you that after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir last year, India had destroyed terrorist hideouts through Operation Sindoor. After this, tensions between the two countries increased and Pakistan closed its airspace to Indian civil and military aircraft. In response to this, India had also banned the entry of Pakistani airlines’ planes into Indian airspace. This ban still continues.
