Champat Rai And Anil Mishra Resign: The SIT formed to investigate the case of theft of offerings from Ayodhya Ram temple has submitted its report to the UP government. A day before, an FIR has been registered against 8 accused in this case and all of them have been arrested.
New Delhi. Amid increasing pressure in the case of theft of offerings from Ram Temple, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust’s General Secretary Champat Rai and key member Anil Mishra have resigned from their posts. The SIT formed to investigate this matter has submitted its report to the UP government. A day before, an FIR has been registered against 8 accused in this case and all of them have been arrested. Champat Rai was on target of the opposition as no member of the trust was named in the FIR.
