SP MLA Kamal Akhtar Resigns As Chief Whip: SP MLA Kamal Akhtar resigns from the post of Chief Whip of the Legislature, said – not resignation, this is the instruction of the National President
New Delhi. Samajwadi Party MLA Kamal Akhtar has resigned from the post of Chief Whip of Uttar Pradesh Legislature. Akhtar is an MLA from Kanth assembly seat of Moradabad. Recently, his rift with Moradabad’s SP MP Ruchi Veera came to light. After this, SP President Akhilesh Yadav had called both of them to Lucknow. It was believed that perhaps now the dispute between Ruchi Veera and Kamal Akhtar has been resolved. But now with the resignation of Kamal Akhtar, a stir has started in the SP camp.

Kamal Akhtar told that he has resigned on the instructions of Akhilesh Yadav. He said that this is not a resignation, but an instruction from the National President. I am a very small worker. I also served as the National President of SP Yuvajan Sabha. I also worked in Rajya Sabha. I also worked in different positions in the organization. Wherever the party gave me responsibility, I discharged it. The party gave me this responsibility, I discharged it. My leader’s order was to give opportunity to more people. It is also our responsibility to give people further opportunities. Akhtar said, no post is permanent. The National President (Akhilesh Yadav) has directed that we will no longer work in this post. The responsibility will be given to someone else and I am confident that whoever is given the responsibility will do good work for the party.

However, Akhtar said that his resignation has nothing to do with the rift with MP Ruchi Veera. She is doing her work. I am doing my work. Akhtar also rejected reports of rift. Let us tell you that MP Ruchi Veera is considered to be from Azam Khan’s camp while Kamal Akhtar is considered close to ST Hasan and this is the real reason for the dispute. Ruchi Veera and Kamal Akhtar often keep accusing each other.
