Big Disclosure By Suvendu Adhikari: In Mamata Banerjee’s government, lakhs of men were also taking money from women’s Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme!, CM Suvendu Adhikari revealed.


Kolkata. Mamata Banerjee’s TMC ruled West Bengal for 15 years. During this period, Mamata Banerjee’s government and party were accused of various irregularities. Now CM Shubhendu Adhikari of the BJP government in West Bengal has revealed that during the tenure of Mamata’s TMC, the government kept giving money to 10 lakh men every month under the Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme started for women. Shubhendu Adhikari has made this disclosure while releasing the latest installment of Annapurna Yojana.

Shubhendu Adhikari also informed that about 1.30 crore women have been registered under Annapurna Scheme. Also 27 lakh applications have been rejected. Regarding those whose applications under Annapurna Yojana have been rejected by the West Bengal Government, Shubhendu Adhikari said that either their names are not in the voter list. Or they may have been fake beneficiaries of the deceased or Lakshmir Bhandar. Shubhendu Adhikari said that only the citizens of India can get the help of government money. He said that BJP is not giving money to the mothers, sisters and daughters of the state. An amount of Rs 3000 is being given every month from government funds.

During the West Bengal Assembly elections, BJP had promised that if its government is formed, the women of the state will be given Rs 36,000 per year under the Annapurna Scheme. Earlier, Mamata Banerjee’s government had launched Lakshmir Bhandar Yojana. Under which first Rs 500, then Rs 1000 and before the last elections Rs 1500 were given every month. When the BJP government conducted an inquiry into the beneficiaries of Laxmir Bhandar, a major fraud came to light. The police have also arrested the men who received the money from Lakshmir Bhandar. Subhendu Adhikari government has decided that the amount will be recovered from those taking money fraudulently.
