New Delhi. Former Chief Minister of West Bengal and President of Trinamool Congress Mamata Banerjee, who was already surrounded by many political problems, has now faced another incident. Mamata’s close aide and West Bengal TMC state president Chandrima Bhattacharya has resigned from all party posts. However, Chandrima has not given the reason for her resignation. In her letter sent to Mamata Banerjee, Chandrika has written that she is also withdrawing her responsibility as the authorized signatory of the accounts operated by the organization in various banks.

Apart from this, she has also made it clear that she will not work as an authorized representative on behalf of Mamata Banerjee before the Election Commission of India. Chandrima Bhattacharya’s name is counted among the influential people of Trinamool Congress. He has played a strong role in the party organization, hence his sudden decision to resign from all party posts has increased the political stir. Let us tell you that after the defeat in the assembly elections, many trusted allies of Mamata Banerjee have left her. There are some people who have not left the party but have resigned from all the posts in the organization.

Whereas Mamata Banerjee is struggling to save her party. Recently, the rebel faction of TMC led by Ritabrata Banerjee has captured the Trinamool Bhawan located at EM Bypass in Kolkata. He says that he is the real Trinamool Congress. Apart from this, recently the rebel group had held a meeting and announced the removal of Mamata Banerjee from the post of chairman. Arup Roy has been declared party president in his place. Many bank accounts of TMC have also been frozen on the application of the rebel group. This matter is pending in the court.
