Mamata’s close aide and West Bengal TMC state president Chandrima Bhattacharya has resigned from all party posts. However, Chandrima has not given the reason for her resignation. In her letter sent to Mamata Banerjee, Chandrika has written that she is also withdrawing her responsibility as the authorized signatory of the accounts operated by the organization in various banks.

Apart from this, she has also made it clear that she will not work as an authorized representative on behalf of Mamata Banerjee before the Election Commission of India. Chandrima Bhattacharya’s name is counted among the influential people of Trinamool Congress. He has played a strong role in the party organization, hence his sudden decision to resign from all party posts has increased the political stir. Let us tell you that after the defeat in the assembly elections, many trusted allies of Mamata Banerjee have left her.
