Advisory Regarding Indian Seafarers: Indian sailors will not be deployed on ships passing through Hormuz, DGMA issued advisory, gave many more important instructions

New Delhi. There is a fierce war going on between America and Iran. During this war, Iran has also attacked ships passing through Hormuz. More than a dozen Indian sailors also lost their lives in these attacks by Iran. India has asked Iran to stop attacks on ships. Also, now the Directorate General of Shipping (DGMA) has issued an important advisory keeping in mind the safety of Indian sailors.

DGMA has asked all ship owning companies, ship managers and RPSL companies not to deploy Indian sailors on ships sailing to and from Hormuz until further orders. Apart from this, DGMA has also asked to increase vigilance in the Persian Gulf area. So that the safety of ships can be ensured. DGMA has said in the advisory that due to the serious security situation in the Gulf area, these steps should be taken at all costs. Apart from this, DGMA has decided that their steps to implement warnings and advisories related to the movement of ships will continue to be monitored.

DGMA has said in the advisory that the International Ship and Port Facilities Security Code i.e. ISPS Code should be strictly implemented. In case of emergency, the Information Fusion Center and DG Communication Center should be informed. So that immediate arrangements can be made to help the affected ship. Let us tell you that the Indian Navy is also deployed in the Arabian Sea area. So that the ships coming to India from the Hormuz area can be given full security and reach the ports. Nine Indian ships are still stranded in the east and west of Hormuz. The government is making every possible effort for their safe return. Iran has clearly said that unless America accepts the conditions and the ships do not pass through the route specified by it, it will not open Hormuz. For this reason America is continuously attacking Iran. In response to which Iran is also targeting American military bases with missiles and drones.
