Surat. 10th and 12th pass opened a clinic: In Surat, Gujarat, police have arrested a woman and a man while running a campaign against fake doctors. These people are accused of treating patients by posing as fake doctors. The woman has studied till 12th class, while the man has studied till 10th class. Police have registered a case against both of them and started action. Police have not found any degree from these two.
According to the information received, this action has been taken by Umra Police of Surat. Police have arrested a man and a woman, who both used to treat people by calling themselves doctors (10th and 12th pass opened a clinic). DCP Vijay Singh Gurjar said that the name of one of the arrested accused is Prayag Ramchandra Prasad, while the name of the woman is Lalita Kripa Shankar Singh. The woman has completed her studies till 12th.
Both these fake doctors used to treat people with allopathic medicines. Both of them had opened a dispensary where allopathic medicines were available. When the police asked for certificates from both of them, no certificate was found with them. The health department team along with the police of Umra police station of Surat have arrested both of them and started further investigation.
Regarding this entire matter, police officials say that accused Prayag Ramchandra Prasad has studied till 10th class. A woman named Lalita has studied till 12th class. Both were practicing doctors. Both used to give allopathic medicines. The medicines and other documents recovered from them are being examined. At present, it is not known for how many years both of them were practicing as doctors in Surat.
