Took objectionable picture after friendship, then 10th class student cheated of Rs 80 lakh

Haryana Crime: A case of blackmailing and extorting Rs 80 lakh from a minor girl has come to light in Gurugram, Haryana. Actually, some boys first befriended the 10th class student and then while talking to her on video call, took many objectionable pictures of her. Through these photographs, the miscreants blackmailed the minor for a year and kept extorting money by threatening him. From January to December this year, the girl transferred around Rs 80 lakh to the miscreants.

80 lakh rupees cheated from 10th class student

The girl had transferred lakhs of rupees from her grandmother's account to different bank accounts several times. Even after transferring the money, the miscreants did not stop harassing the student. He often used to extort money from the student by threatening to make objectionable photos viral. Fed up with this, one day the girl told her tuition teacher about it.

Cheating by showing objectionable photos

The tuition teacher informed the girl's family about this. After which the family members complained about it in the police station. After registering the complaint, the police have arrested the three accused and are interrogating them. Let us tell you that the student had befriended these boys through social media. These days such cases have become common. Where people are extorting money by making friends on social media.

Regarding the incident, the girl told that she was being continuously blackmailed. Due to which he transferred about Rs 80 lakh from the account of his 75 year old grandmother to the account of the miscreants. The age of the student is said to be 15 years. The accused have been identified as Sumit Kataria, Sumit Tanwar and Kusha. At present, the police is investigating the matter. After which further action will be taken.
