11 year old Shaurya became Mahant in Ballia, who is the little abbot?
Mazhowa Math in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh has become the center of discussion, where 11 year old Shaurya Tiwari was given the throne of the Mahant of the Math. After being made Mahant, Shaurya Tiwari was given a new name and he was also anointed with Vedic rituals. According to Shaurya Tiwari’s guru, despite becoming a Mahant, Shaurya will be taught religion. The video of the consecration ceremony is going viral on social media.
Shaurya Tiwari was ordained on Sunday at Majhowa Math and Lakshmi Narayan Temple located near Revathi Bus Stand in Ballia, after which the saints changed his name to Shyam Narayan Ramanuja Vaishnodas. For your information, let us tell you that the old Mahant of the Math, Maksudanacharya, had passed away on June 25, since then the seat of the Mahant was vacant. Now the question arises whether from now on only Shaurya Tiwari will take important decisions related to the Math.

Will Shaurya take charge of the Math?
Many people were present at the consecration program of Mazhowa Monastery, where many reporters also attended. When reporters asked Shaurya whether he would be able to handle the responsibility of the Math, Shaurya replied, ‘Sure, I will be able to handle it.’ After this, reporters asked Shaurya whether he would not like to get married in life, then Shaurya candidly replied that he would never want to get married.
The people present there found Shaurya’s answer interesting. However, his guru Balak Das told reporters that Shaurya is still a child. When he completely understands the religion, culture and traditions, then he will take full responsibility of the Math. At present, the Math Patron Board will take decisions related to the Math.

Education will continue after becoming Mahant
Shaurya Tiwari’s guru Narayan Das told that Shaurya is still young, hence he will be given education in religion and spirituality, so that he can understand religion, tradition and culture well. Shaurya currently studies in fourth class.
According to media reports, when the Abhishek was taking place, Shaurya was first given a bath. Then he said in an innocent voice, “The water is cold, so it feels good.” After this he asked his family on phone when he would go home.
