Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Rai, in a press conference held at the state headquarters in Lucknow, has made a direct attack on the corruption of the country’s education system and the BJP government. Ajay Rai said that despite the terrible tragedy of leaking of papers of NEET and various competitive examinations continuously from the year 2018 to 2026, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has not resigned taking moral responsibility, which the Congress Party strongly demands. A total of 12 promising students including Hrithik Mishra, Shivani Yadav and Anshika Pandey from different states of the country have lost their lives due to mental stress arising out of the recent NEET paper leak, which the Congress party considers not to be suicide but government induced murder.
While sharing shocking figures, Ajay Rai said that parents spend Rs 3.5 lakh crore in the preparation of five major competitive examinations of the country, which is equal to the total budget of five major ministries of the country, despite this, the current education system of the country has become a ‘rejection system’ which is able to provide jobs to only 12 students out of a thousand. To raise this pain of the students and parents of the country from Parliament to the streets, Rahul Gandhi has started the ‘Students’ Echo’ campaign and ‘Kota Maharally’, through which he will directly communicate with the students in Prayagraj, Patna and Delhi and lay the foundation of a new education system in the country that is fair, transparent and pocket-friendly to the parents.
