‘120 Bahadur’ OTT release: Watch Farhan Akhtar’s film at home this New Year, know when and where to watch the film

After its theatrical release, the movie “120 Bahadur” is now all set for digital release. The historical war drama which released in theaters on 21 November 2025 will now release on OTT platforms in January 2026.

According to a report in Free Press Journal, the movie “120 Bahadur” will be released on Amazon Prime Video from January 16, 2026. This movie will be available only for subscribers. The film hits the OTT platform almost two months after its theatrical release and a few days before Republic Day.

Despite being one of the most anticipated films of 2025, “120 Bahadur” underperformed at the box office, earning an estimated Rs 20 crore (approximately $200 million). Critics said it failed to impress the audience.

What is the story of the movie “120 Bahadur”?

Farhan Akhtar’s film “120 Bahadur” is based on the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. In this battle, about 120 Indian soldiers of the 13th Kumaon Regiment under the command of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati bravely faced over 3,000 Chinese soldiers and defended their outpost till their last breath. Farhan will be seen playing the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati in the film.
