Bihar: On Tejashwi’s absence in the winter session, Manjhi said, RJD leaders are ashamed of the defeat.
The ruling party is continuously targeting the absence of opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav in the first session of the assembly after the victory of NDA in Bihar elections. Meanwhile, Union Minister and NDA chief Jitan Ram Manjhi said on Saturday that Tejashwi Yadav probably did this out of embarrassment over his crushing defeat in the elections.
While talking to the media, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi described Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav as an irresponsible person and said that he does politics but keeps saying irresponsible things. There is no justification for it. He said, “I was told that he might have gone abroad. I don’t know, but if he had gone, he should have understood the importance of the assembly session. It was a short session. It would have been better if he had registered his presence.”
Union Minister Manjhi said that all the dishes he was making before the elections were finished. In a way, he has been absent from the assembly session out of shame. They should be careful from now on.
He sarcastically said that on December 18, while he was taking oath, he was also changing the officers. If a person who was thinking very high suddenly goes down, he will definitely feel ashamed. Maybe that’s why he did it.
The five-day winter session of Bihar Assembly was formally adjourned sine die on Friday. Opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav was present for the first two days, but after that he did not reach the House. Even Tejashwi Yadav remained absent during the Governor’s address.
