The Supreme Court Will Deliver Its Verdict Today On The Haldwani Encroachment Dispute Security Arrangements Have Been Tightened
The eyes of the entire country are fixed on this order, because it will not only decide the future of the local people, but can also set a big precedent on railway land management and encroachment matters.
Before the decision, Nainital district administration and police are on full alert mode. RPF, Railway Police, PAC, Paramilitary Force and Uttarakhand Police have been deployed in large numbers to deal with any kind of situation. According to officials, the force has been equipped with modern weapons including LMGs so that law and order remains completely under control.
Strict restrictions have been imposed in the entire Banbhulpura area from 8 am to 10 pm. During this period, the movement of people is being strictly monitored. The police are continuously conducting flag marches to increase area dominance.
Instructions have been given to strengthen the security system. It was asked to increase intensive checking, barricading, patrolling and flag march at sensitive places. Along with this, BDS teams have also started bomb detection and anti-sabotage operations in the entire area, so that no untoward situation arises.
To further strengthen security, the scope of CCTV surveillance has also been increased significantly. About 45 cameras have been installed in Gafoor Basti, Line No. 17 and surrounding streets of Banbhulpura, which are being live monitored from the control room.
Some cameras were damaged in the last violence, which have been repaired and reactivated. Railways has also installed around 25 cameras on its premises and near the tracks to keep a close watch on the security in and around the station.
