Our missile program is not a topic of discussion for the country’s security: Iran!
Ignoring all these questions, Iran has claimed that its missile program is defensive and it has been designed to prevent any external attack. He also said that there should be no debate on his weapons stockpile.
“Iran’s missile program is developed to maintain the integrity and security of its country, not for negotiation,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Bakai said at a weekly press conference.
According to media agency Tasnim, Bakai termed Israel and America’s thinking against Iran as ‘hypocrisy’. He said Iran is facing “open hypocrisy,” noting that while Iran’s defense program is being portrayed as a threat, weapons are being supplied to the Jewish regime. This is a clear example of the degradation for which America and supporters of the Israeli regime must be held accountable.
Baqaei said that the atmosphere being created through the media is equivalent to a war that has been started by the Israeli regime and the US, and said that Iran’s armed forces and the nation will continue to focus on fulfilling their duties.
Actually, Bakai was asked a question in the press conference quoting a report by American broadcaster NBC. That said, Israel is becoming concerned that Iran is trying to rebuild and expand its missile production after the war and may attack it again to stop those efforts.
NBC quoted an unnamed source and former US officials with direct knowledge of the plans as saying that during a planned visit to the US later this month, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “could offer President Donald Trump the option of US involvement in any new military operations.”
Israel still considers Iran’s ballistic missiles the main threat to its CLEAR program, which it sought to eliminate during the 12-day war in June.
According to the report, Israel has told the Trump administration that Iran’s ‘Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ is conducting a military exercise focusing on missiles but its target is Israel. He may use this as a coverup.
