Alliance of selfishness between Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray: Navneet Rana!

Ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray officially announced their alliance on Wednesday. Bharatiya Janata Party leaders have reacted to this and said that this is an alliance of ‘selfish’.

BJP leader and former MP Navneet Rana, while talking to IANS, said that the way Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray are uniting, it is good as a family, but the reality is that both the brothers are uniting for their own interests.

On Uddhav Thackeray, Navneet Rana said that his party, which once had the power to make the Chief Minister, is now standing last in the Municipal Corporation and Nagar Panchayat elections. Very few of their members have been elected to Municipal Corporation and Nagar Panchayat. Today, Uddhav Thackeray can keep anyone with him, but his mathematics will not work even in BMC elections.

Navneet Rana also raised questions on Raj Thackeray. He said, “Earlier Raj Thackeray’s speech used to start with the words ‘My Hindu brothers and sisters’, but now after forming an alliance with Uddhav Thackeray, Raj Thackeray’s language has changed.”

The BJP leader also reminded Raj Thackeray of his old promises and slogans. He asked, “Raj Thackeray, tell where Hanuman Chalisa and saffron love has gone for him today, because Uddhav Thackeray is standing with those offering chadar today, so is Raj Thackeray showing that he does not love Hindus and saffron? Will Raj Thackeray also visit Aurangzeb’s grave?”

Meanwhile, Navneet Rana claimed the victory of BJP and Mahayuti in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections.

On Uddhav and Raj Thackeray, BJP MLA Mihir Kotecha said, “This is just an attempt to remain in power. But, the people of Mumbai have understood this. This is very clear from the recent municipal and city council results, in which the Mahayuti has won more than 70 percent of the seats.”
